The trinity does NOT appear in the bible.
It is a teaching borrowed from paganism. People worshiped gods in the form of triads long before Jesus came to earth.
Jesus does live in heaven with his Father but they are two separate persons.
JOHN 1:18 - no man has seen God AT ANY TIME (many saw Jesus)
JOHN 14:28 - the Father is greater than the Son (contradicting the trinity teaching that they are co-equal etc)
Jesus is the mediator between God and man
A mediator cannot be one of the two parties, it must be a separate person entirely
True Christians do NOT believe in the trinity

The trinity is Christianity central belief that God is not only 1 but 3 seperate entities:
God the Father (God)
God the Son (Jesus Christ)
God the Holy Spirit. (Different from God how?)
An omnipresent being split into 3. Why would the creative force behind the universe be in 3 different forms? A human form for one? It doesn't make sense to me. I think this is BS myself and not properly explained in any literature.
Now I've got that off my chest I'll just wait to see how many thumbs down I get for picking open one of the biggest holes in Christian dogma. I don't care.

The Trinity is made of the Father (God), Son (Jesus) and Holy Ghost (spirit of Christ)
Both Jesus and God are in Heaven, but their spirits are everywhere. Some religons believe that to accept Christ as the Saviour is the only way to get into Heaven, hense, praying to God through Jesus...so, essentially this is praying to God through Jesus (the lamb, Son of God)
I hope this helps....

I have two thoughts here. Thought number one looks at "God" not as a single being, but rather as an establishment (for lack of a better term). Somewhat like the Senate (I know you are from overseas, but you'll be able to follow this, I'm sure). The Senate is made up of many people. Each is equal. Each part is fully a Senator. What if God is a shortened term for Godhead, indicating a group of three who are each fully God, yet each their own self. An example of three residing in perfect harmony. That's an interesting concept to me, but not necessarily the one I believe. Thought number two looks at God as one being, in three seperate roles. God is spirit. The Father is God as creator, lawmaker, and king of heaven. As the lawmaker, He is above the law, as he can answer to no higher power than himself. The Son is God taking on a human body to live among mankind as one of mankind, and under subjection to the laws the Father has decreed. The Holy Spirit is God in spirit form entering and filling Jesus upon coming up from his baptism. It is the spirit of God that also dwells within us when we receive it, teaching our spirit how to live a life that is right before God. Hopefully this helps shed some light on this mysterious topic.

With equal respect...you ask for answers about "The Trinity" yet only mention TWO - 'God' and 'Jeeus'.
I've tried to answer these questions as they are written - but - the easy way is to respond through my 'good catholic' upbringing!
There are three persons in the Holy Trinity, God the Father, God the Son and the Holy Ghost.
Whether it is normal or not - I can't say, I can only tell you how I was brought up...I was told NEVER to ask God (the Father) directly - but to ask a Saint or (the blessed) Mary or Jesus to ask on my behalf.

Jesus is God. They both live in heaven because it's their home. some people pray to Jesus because he said " I am the door" and that the only way of entrance, He makes intercessor's for us to the the father. They are one in agreement.Just as parents are usually in agreement in disciplining their child. The third person in the Trinity which is the Holy spirit. our comforter you know When we pray to Jesus, Lord Or God it is more less

if you find a bible which uses God's name it becomes much clearer. Where many translations only use Lord, Father and God, it becomes confused as they are titles which can be applied to both God and Jesus. this then enables twisting of the scriptures to put forward the trinity idea.
where more accurate translations use the name Jehovah or another pronunciation, it becomes easier to distinguish between God Jehovah and his son Jesus.
Jesus always acredited his power and message to his Father, the one who sent him. he never claimed to be God. in fact, in luke 18:19 he says not to call him good as only God is good. if he is God why does he say that?
many trinitarians will quote john 1:1 saying that the word is God. howere, in the original greek manuscripts, the word used for God and god is different. it uses God when it says 'the word was with God', but it used god when it says 'the word was a god' (NWT). by looking at the greek text, the difference between God Jehovah, and god Jesus can be seen. even satan is called the god of this system of things. but as with Jesus, it is not the word used for calling Jehovah God.
the Holy spirit is also a separate entity. it is God's active force. Jesus said to his disciples that he must die and be resurrected so he could send another comforter (the Holy spirit) to them. if the Holy spirit is Jesus who is God, why must he die to send it when he is already there?
and if he died who resurrected him? he always said the resurrection was performed by God's power not his. so if God died who else had power enough to resurrect him when the source of the power has gone?
there is only one God Jehovah. his son Jesus is not God, he is the firstborn of all creation. the Holy spirit is not God or Jesus, it is Jehovah's active force which bears his power and his will.

The word Trinity does not appear in the Bible because it is a man-made doctrine. .
Acts 3:13 states--"The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the God of our fathers, glorified His Servant Jesus, whom you delivered up and denied in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let Him go." (New King James Version)
If Jesus is God's servant, then they cannot be equal.
At John 14:28 it states: "You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’ If you loved Me, you would rejoice because I said, ‘I am going to the Father,’ for My Father is greater than I."
If the Father is greater than Jesus, they cannot be equal. -No mention is made of the holy spirit, because it is God's active force, not a person.
This is why many believe in such man-made doctrines:
2 Timothy 4:3-4---" For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables."

Jesus is not God. He is indeed a god. But God the Father is greater than him. His words.
John 1:1 in most Bibles is a mistranslation to fit the trinity doctrine. Please see the Greek verse below with Strong's numbers.
(GNT+) εν1722 PREP αÏÏη746 N-DSF ην2258 V-IXI-3S ο3588 T-NSM λογοÏ3056 N-NSM και2532 CONJ ο3588 T-NSM λογοÏ3056 N-NSM ην2258 V-IXI-3S ÏÏοÏ4314 PREP Ïον3588 T-ASM θεον2316 N-ASM και2532 CONJ θεοÏ2316 N-NSM ην2258 V-IXI-3S ο3588 T-NSM λογοÏ3056 N-NSM
θεον and Î¸ÎµÎ¿Ï are two different words.
But Strong's gave them the same number as if they were the same word.
To be correct, one is translated God, the other god----- to show the difference.
Westcott and Hort translations have the correct rendering which show.
There are 31 misapplied or mistranslated verses in the Bible to support the trinity doctrine. Most are in the King James, Douay, and other Clementine Bibles.

Jesus is the son of God. Or so we are told. When you pray to Jesus you are praying to the next best thing to God - if you believe your prayers may come true - God knows.
