I am looking to buy a new digital camera. I like to take picture of clouds and sunsets and other things like that. I amd wondering if this camera is a good one to take those kind of pics with. This is what I am looking at buying. DXG 305VBC 5-in-1 Digital Camcorder. It's really cheap at wal-mart so i was wondering if it takes good pics. please let me know!

Hmmm, I'm just wondering what a 5-in-1 actually is.

So, I looked it up on the web..and, apparantly it takes poor quality, 3 MP photos...has a tiny LCD screen...and takes Mpeg movies at 640X480.
and it has NO OPTICAL ZOOM! only lousy digital zoom.
I am sorry, but you will never ever get very good photos (especially of clouds and sunsets) or anything, with this camera.
Do yourself a favour...wait, save some more cash and then buy a better camera (with at least 6 MP and a minimum Optical Zoom of 3X,4X or 6X).
Stay away from any camera that only uses digital zoom and says you can get bigger photos via interpolation (as this one says).

I would not purchase a camera at walmart. I also would not get any 5 in 1 things as they will not give you the best pictures ever.

I personally recommend the Olympus evolt series of cameras as they are slightly cheaper than canon and just as good.

You can keep your eyes out at ebay and use a sniping service, or you can see what you can find here: http://www.silvaspoon.net/cameras.html
Generally you need to decide between a point and shoot (less money but also not as good a quality on prints) or a dslr (digital single lens reflex) there are other cameras, but to start with going with a camera that you can learn on and that allows you the most over rides on auto settings is a good choice.

Your best bet is to go to a photography store and explain what you want out of a camera. There re so many different models at various prices that only an expert can guide you through the whole works. Just don't buy any camera just because it looks sexy.

Anything that's 5 in 1 will do all five of those things half-assed.
If you want to take great pictures, get a camera.

Hello, I think you need to see all types of cameras you want to buy, then see the more features.
1- See the Excellent quality.
2- The price.
3- Memory.
4- Pixels, flash, cards, zoom.

cam corders have a very low pixel rate for stills ,invest in a minolta 6 to 8 megas for the most awesome pictures
