even if it sucks me off, i'm still not paying that for a toothbrush when i can get one for $1.00.

I paid more than this for my Sonicare.

These toothbrushes are designed to remove far more plaque than brushing with a normal toothbrush could ever hope to achieve. The biggest single factor in tooth loss is through gum disease which is caused by a build up on plaque. Using a good proprietary electric toothbrush along with a flossing regime is ultimately far cheaper than dental visits (that's if you're lucky enough to have a dentist).

I say you get what you pay for, and I'd happily pay this price to extend the life of my teeth. I don't believe the cheaper electric or battery toothbrushes are up to the job!

It is an electric toothbrush, however I have seen the same model for £10 less elsewhere!

You could buy several "manual" ones for the same price and exercise your hand for free!!

Is the toothbrush covered in gold? It must have other features surely.
Some people would actually buy it though.

Does this toothbrush brush your teeth for you. i think it's a bit much for a toothbrush but i guess some people will buy anything these days.
