Why doesn't it go away.

it's caused by a chemical imbalance in your brain. without medication to correct the imbalance it won't go away

It doesn't go away until the problem goes away. Unless of course its a more serious condition that is related to a chemical imbalance then medication might be required.

the only way to slightly get better is to do things

push yourself to do stuff everyday, ull feel that when ur busy u feel a bit better and afterwards ull even feel good about actually having done something

i also hope ur in therapy, that does help aswell, having some1 to tell yer story too

and dont 4get healing is something that happens with babysteps
dont push yourself to run, babysteps solve it all so much better

You are blaming yourself unnecessarily. Society sets up rules and standards you must conform to or you will be mentally beaten up. You will be ostracized, denied camaraderie, criticized, graded poorly, not shown attention, made fun of, brow beaten, denied love, talked about behind your back, bullied and yelled at. And when you do not conform, society says it is some how your fault for not meeting the rules you never agreed to. In order to fix that, society created psychiatrists, psychologists and now pharmaceuticals. That is the machine we live in. PLEASE STOP BLAMING YOURSELF, IT IS NOT YOU!

it doesnt go away because it is a hormonal imbalance within yourself...

medication isnt always necessary!!!
