It wasn't the proposal or anything, but it was romantic.

During our second year of dating, we were at LAX waiting at a restaurant waiting for our flight. The whole trip had been grueling--our car rental had been lost so we were stuck in a very dirty car from a dirty rental place, we had a flat tire and was chared $80 for it, we were lost, and we had to five hours to spare since we couldn't leave our luggage anywhere.

At the restaurant, my fiance (then boyfriend) collapsed emotionally and physically. We were both crying and holding each other in this busy airport--not as romantic as it may seem, but it was tender.

He said, "You are what I've been dreaming of for so long! I look at this trip and worry that I'm not good enough for you. don't have much to offer you other than an undying love and respect for you. I want to marry you! I want to see us raise a family and experience life together! I know that I'm not perfect, but I just want to be the best I can for you."

I didn't say anything. I stroked his head and held him close. All I could do was cry. This was the man I was going to spend the rest of my life with.

No, it doesn't sound that romantic to some. However, it was a moment that I will never forget because he was real. He wanted to marry me! What woman WOULDN'T want to know that?

hey, FaZizzle, that WAS romantic!!!really!
my current has a substance issue... he has had relapses, and i try to be supportive, and helpful...
at one point, he had a relapse, and i called his son, and told him- just so he would be watched...
he would up in the hospital, and didn't have his glasses... when he came to himslef again, he thought i was in the room with him... (it was the Nurse)... he was telling her he loved her, he was sorry, ect. she asked if he wanted to call me, he said no...
three weeks later, he was sober, and at my door... still worried, i answered... he said, "even when i don't know who i am, i know who you are. more than anyone else in the world, you are my heart and soul."
i know its dumb, but it meant a lot to me...

believe is selection one. you are able to not have a "existence" better half without mutual believe and recognize for each others desires and evaluations. dedication is critical from the two human beings if it is going to final.Friendship is rather considerable...you like the guy yet do you like them as a perosn....are they your superb pal? they could desire to be.
