If you go to a Catholic Church where no one knows you, do they ask you if you're Catholic there at the communion rail? If they do how do you prove you are? I'm just curious because I saw another answer in here telling some one not Catholic not to take communion at a Catholic Church.

The priest will usually notice if you don't follow the prescribed liturgy. And then the Jesuits show up and burn your house down.

Nothing will happen to a non-Catholic if he (or she) receives the Eucharist in a Catholic Church.

He might get an irresistible urge to join the Catholic Church (just joking).

You are not usually asked if you are a Catholic.

At the Last Supper, Jesus said, “Take this bread. It is my body.” The he said, “Take this and drink. This is my blood. Do this in memory of me.”

Catholics believe this was the First Eucharist, that through some miracle the bread and wine actually became the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

Catholics reenact the Last Supper during every Mass, where the priest, acting in place of Christ, changes the bread and wine into the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

This is a great sacrament of thanksgiving and unity of Catholics.

Anyone who does not believe in the actual presence of Christ and is not united with the Catholic faith is asked, out of respect, not to receive the Eucharist.

Catholics, out of respect for other Christian faiths, do not receive Communion in non-Catholic churches.

We pray that one day Christian unity will succeed and we will all be called to the same table.

With love and prayers in Christ.

The same thing that happens when a Catholic takes communion in a Protestant church....he or she have received the body and blood of Jesus Christ.

out of respect for the church, you should not, however,no they don't ask you or stop you. in the Rcc it is not just a symbol, we truly believe we are receiving Christ. you are also to be in a state of grace - having confessed your sins. you have to do what you feel is right.

You eat a little wafer that tastes like sawdust and less than an ounce of grape juice. That's it.

The wafer will still stick to the roof of your mouth.
