My 5 year old cousin who i am babysitting right now has stuck macaronia and a piece of crayon up his nose on one side and a bean in the other?Should i take him to the doctor or try and pull it out?

I am also babysitting 3 other cousins right now that are 10, 8 , and a 6 month old baby.!

Call his Mom straight away, then he will need a doc to remove it?? Watch his breathing and make sure he dosen't "suck" his nose in!!!

You should not try to pull it out because you can push it up further!! If he knows how to blow his nose without sniffing it in..try that. I would call his mom and dad right away and then he will most likely need to go to the doctor or ER.

Take him to the doctor so they can see if everything came out and nothing was left behind. He might feel and look fine, but if there is something stuck there which is unnotice it could present trouble and complication later on inhis life. Have you talk to you uncle/aunt about this? They should know too.

iagree with the first one,first ask him if he can blow it out, then if he cant,definetly take him to the E.R. it will be a pain with all the kids( i know i babysit 2 everyday and have 1 of my own) but you cant take any chances. ps. one time my 2 yr old had a rock up her nose and i plugged one side and told her to blow and it came right out.

Ask him to blow it out. Don't try sticking anything in his nose to get the stuff out. You could wind up pushing it further back and making the situation worse. If he can't blow it out take him to the Dr.

I wouldnt mess around about trying to take it out yourself. Go see the doctor right away. You should have been watching them better i wouldnt trust you as a babysitter.

DON'T FEEL BAD, JUST WATCH YOUR COUSIN BETTER BECAUSE IT COULD HAVE BEEN SOMETHING MUCH WORSE. IF YOU CAN NOT GET HIM TO BLOW IT OUT, CALL HIS PARENTS SO THAT HE CAN GET MEDICAL ATTENTION. MAKE SURE HE HASN'T STUCK ANYTHING IN HIS EARS ALSO BECAUSE KIDS WILL DO THAT TOO.

You can try a saline solution, but if that doesn't help it come out take him to the ER

call his mother, and tell her, and go from there, maybe it's happened before, or she'll come home and take cuz to to er, or something, good luck,.......but first see if he can blow it out.......
