i CAN'T FIND ANYTHING IN THE INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT A FILTER BUT i'M SURE THERE MUST BE ONE AS IT ISN'T DRYING AS WELL AS IT DID AND I'VE ONLY HAD IT A COUPLE OF MONTHS

I was assured when I bought it that my W/D didn't have a filter - "The fluff gets washed out with the water used to cool it" BULLSH*T! My W/D was p*ssin' water everywhere so I got a little man in... turns out my machines filter is hidden behind a plastic facia - found it - cleaned it - and don't believe ANY sales pitch anymore!

If you've only had your W/D for a few months then it willl be covered by warranty.

LEGALLY an item should perform the task for which it was designed for an acceptable length of time! If it fails in these basics then you have a claim!

Depends what make the w/d is.
I have a Hotpoint and the filter is on the back at the bottom.
Mine stopped drying a while back and it turned out the filter was blocked by a 5p piece and lots of fluff.
Unattach the 2 jubilee clips...remove the filter and clear it out.

I got a lot of help from this website as it's run by trades persons who offer advice on all sorts of problems. so if yours isn't a hotpoint, you may find it here.

Depends on the model.
Most have a filter for fluff and stuff.
Try the helpline or download a booklet from the web and, oh yes,
TYPE HOW YOU LIKE FOR GOD'S SAKE. IT'S ONLY THE NET NOT A FRIGGING SALOON BAR
