My son would really like for me to sign him up on some sports or "leagues", but all activities are always held on saturdays, which goes against Seventh Day Adventist beliefs.
Which, if any, are some alternatives for us

Thanks for any help

that is a really really tough one. most schools have games on saturdays because they can't have them on sundays. however, when i was in high school, football was always on friday night. your son might be younger. ask someone at your school. maybe there is something like track or cross country that has meets after school.

your religion is holding your kid back.

seriously where does it say in the Bible that he can't be active in sports on saturday. it just says that you can't make him work for example chopping wood. let your poor kid play sports, watch tv, play video games, and whatever he enjoys on saturday.

its just wrong to make your kid be bored on a certain day just because your congregation leaders say that they can't do this and that.

First, quit the religous cult your in and become a real christian. Legalism is what you are worshipping, everyday is the Lord's day and we all rest in it.
