My best advice is to make your own using Microsoft word or publisher. All of the DIY websites look tacky, but when you make them yourself they will be perfect. I made mine and then will print them on translucent paper and then I am tying it onto cardstock with ribbon. It looks so much better than those that cost $4 a piece, and will only be $.30 each.
If you pick me as best answer I can email you mine.
Also, these are a little bit more expensive, but check out this site: http://weddings.about.com/gi/dynamic/offsite.htm?site=http://www.paper%2Dsource.com

I looked online to get different ideas for wedding invitations and wordings. When I found something I liked, I incorporated it into my invitation. My invitations turned out beautiful and I know I would have never been happy with anything else. Plus, it was a fun project for me and my husband to put together early on in the wedding planning! Just google/search Wedding Invitations and you'll find a ton!! Good Luck.

I got my invitations at Wal-Mart. Sounds cheap I know, but You can buy a pack of I think 60 for around $15.00 made by Wilton. Then you go to http://www.wilton.com/printyourown/stationery/templateversion.cfm
put in the stock number on the box and download the templates... you can expect to mess up a few along the way but I did this and my invitations looked 10 times better than a friend of mine who paid a lot to get hers done.
PS hand write the mailing envelopes, it looks much nicer... and more personal... even if you don't have good handwritting.

We made our own, and you don't need anything like that.
1) Figure out what you want to do. Do you want to use the pre-made sheets that are decorated and just need wording (usually purchased from a craft store)? Do you want to make them yourself? Figure this out and get card stock or the pre-made decorated sheets.
2) Go to a website like www.theamericanwedding.com and find the wording you want to use (pretend you're going to customize an invitation and they will give you examples). Use your Microsoft Word (or the like) to create your own. Fill in the blanks and do it as YOU want it to be done.
3) Print.
You really don't need a web site or anything. As long as you have your computer, you'll be fine.

You can get blank wedding invitations at Target so you can print them at home. Then go to a wedding invitation site like: http://www.theamericanwedding.com/home/index.aspx , pick any card and add it to your cart. (don't buy it of course) The site will ask you your wedding info like names, event date, etc.. and then it gives you several options for the wording of your invitations. Pick one you like, copy and paste it into MS Word and print it on your Target invitations (or some pretty paper).

You can get the printshop program and some pretty paper and do them at home. I just went to a wedding 2 weeks ago that although they were obviously home made they were beautiful.

Go to staples and get a wedding kit. They are under $30 and can be made with your computer. They are very professional looking and are easy to make.

another option is to get single panel black ink invitations (the back of the books). they are super cheap.
I say this --because I made my own and given the choice I will never do that again.

hi. You deliver a RECEPTION INVITATION....which, obviously differs from the marriage invitation. There are examples on the cyber web of wording. the following is one celebration: Sarah Jo Johnson and Brian Thomas Smith invite you to a celebration in honor of their marriage Saturday, the fifth of September 2 thousand 9 Six o'clock interior the evening golf seashores united states club 111 golf seashores rigidity Tampa, Florida Sarah and Brian will be married in a private rite before interior the day. for sure, it really is merely an celebration. Use Google and style in "reception invitation wording." there are a approach of examples. you could also make it more advantageous casual by making use of no longer spelling out the day, time, etc. desire this facilitates!
