SAT is much easier. I got 2 perfect scores in math and reading, but my writing score was only 720, for a total of 2320. I only read this SAT guide, and that is how I got such high scores:

I recommend this guide to anyone seeking to get a higher score to get into a first choice college.

That depends on which scores the schools you apply to prefer. Some schools specifically like one vs. the other. SATs appear to be more universally preferred over ACTs, but check the application materials from the universities that interest you.

Neither of them is "easier" as the scores are based on your performance to everyone else. If you score high on one, you'll probably score high on the other.

you should take both if you can. some people do better on one, some on the other. If you live close to the Pacific (California) or the Atlantic (Florida, Georgia) you should take the SAT. I think that the SAT is a little harder. but colleges will usually accept either one now.

depends on the college you are looking at. some require both, others only one, some its what they prefer and others its what you perfer. I took the SATs and did well. and did not take the ACTs. A few of my peers, who were in AP classes, took the ACTs.
