It's been a little while since i've looked this up, but you need something like 200 calories JUST FROM CARBS for healthy brain function, with out that the brain eventually kicks over to keatosis (not pos. on spelling) and the only place the body can get keatones (spelling again) is from breaking down the liver.. so basically having that few calories can cause the same type of damage to your brain and liver as alchoholism. now that was JUST FOR THE BRAIN.. your body needs energy.. go to mypryamid.gov and you can type in your specifics for a calorie count on what you need to maintain a healthy weight.. and yes, if your friend is weighing 5 times a day they have a problem they need to face.

If you are only eating 100 calories a day, you can't have much to write down. When I was dieting, I had to stay around 800 calories in order to lose weight, and I was told by a professional that 800 calories daily was unhealthy. The exercising seems fine to me. It also seems that your friend is compulsive. Your friend does need help and a good place to start would be their doctor. Thanks for the question and thanks for being such a good friend.

100 calories a day is not enough food for a day. Why does she weigh 5 times a day? That just makes you feel bad. Do it once a week.

Good luck

Yes it is bad, you are not getting enough calories to maintain yourself also you are too obsessed with your weight. You need to seek medical/psychological attention.
