I just had a bite of a chocolate cupcake, and put mine down to peel my sons cupcake paper off and I had a bit of cupcake in my mouth and I was breathing through my nose and was getting ready to speak to my 4 years old son, but I inhaled a peice of cupcake in my chest I instatly coughed it out I think. But I coughed and coughed , My eyes watering and I was coughing up loads of phlem. Now it is about twenty minutes later and when I breathe it sounds like I have asthma or somthing, my chest feels tight. Could I have gotten cupcake lodged in my lung? I weeze now, and I don't know if it will go away. Has this happened to anyone before? I'am being competely serious, I would greatly appreceiate honest answers.

Damn... Ummm
Try to breathe in and out deeply.
If it stays the same for about an hour or more.
Go to the doctor or ER. Just in case.

I've done the same thing before with a muffin. Made me cough like a mo fo. My chest hurt like hell afterwards but I'm still alive. Apparently you are too. But if your coughing up all that phlem maybe you should go to the doctors? Do you smoke? Maybe you have a chest cold starting ? Play it safe. Stay away from your sons cupcakes..or else...and you might not like else. Thats as quick as I can be. Good luck {:')~

You sound like having an asthma attack which could be lifethreatening. You should get some anti allergenic medication
and it will be better to go to the hospital if the weezing gets worse.

I doubt you wouldn't actually inhaled a piece of cupcake, your chest is probably tight because you were coughing so hard before. I don't think I've ever actually inhaled something solid though, sooo. . .

It's possible that some is lodged in the flap that closes off when you change between breathing and swallowing. It's also possible that just the movement of phlegm is causing the noise. You do need medical attention.

All the coughing probably irritated your throat. I don't think you got cupcake in your lungs. Try drinking something warm that should help.

Most likely you coughed it up. You are most likely wheezing still because your lungs got a little inflamed (swelled up) due to a foreign object in them. I would wait a day and if you are still wheezing you can go to the doctor. The body can break downa nd get rid of most foreign objects, especially FOOD!

I am NOT a doctor. And I do NOT play one on TV.

As long as you can breathe, you're okay. Your body can handle things going down the wrong way. It can't make it into you lungs and won't do damage. Just drink fluids and take it easy.

I think all the coughing has caused you to damage yourself. It will probably settle down itself, but you'll need a Doctor if not.

Get to a doctor. A similar occurence happened with my uncle, and it was serious. Have him check for you, and maybe even do an x-ray. This can cause serious infection!
