I replied poorly to a question posed and then some guy emails me with this..Do you honestly think that your answer to the person who asked what does 21 grams mean, is accurate? Did you ctually pull that out of your *** or research that? BC if it is reasearched I would love to know what book or internet site that "fact" was on, seeing you are a book nut. I am a medical student and I have held a human height in my bare hands before. The average adult human heart weighs in from 9 to 11 ounces, that is 255-312 grams. Now a newborn weighs in relativly close at 19 ounces, but not to burst your bubble, our hearts, "in reality" do not weigh anything neaar what you said. Change your answer, your embarrassing.
He doesn't even notice his typos or grammer mistakes but he is so proud that he knows that I was wrong about the weight of the human heart. Thanks for the corrections RUSS. Good thing it wasn't an english paper I was writing.

Dear, the best thing I can tell you is... "The internet happens.". People will always be rude. Some will notice, some will not, some don't even mean it. Perhaps he was having a bad day...who knows.
Take pride, however, in the fact that atleast you can spell better than him. Sometimes, it's the little things like that that can bring us through the hard things -- no matter how small -- life decides to throw at us.

People are such asses on cyberspace because they know they will get away with it. The person or persons they're beating up on aren't able to defend themselves the way they would face to face. Just look at them as the cowards they are. You and I both know that they probably feel very powerless in their every day lives, and that's why they say such rude things here. It's the only place they can get away with such jerky behavior. Just remember, too, that you're basically dealing with people you don't know, and who don't know you, thus making it all the more easy for them to be judgemental and rude. The best thing to do is not open yourself up to being insulted. I've gotten an occasional rude comment, and I just let it go. I consider it part of the program. Not everybody is going to agree with me on certain issues, and I just take it with a grain of salt. As for your "friend" Russ, he is a bully. That's all he is, and it doesn't mean what he said to you is true. You know you're smart. That's the most important thing. Peace.

Aw, it's alright. Some people have a stick up their asses. I had somebody contact me after I responded to her question about what man-made materials on her boots meant in a really snotty fashion. I'd said that no animals were murdered in order to bring you these boots and they were made out of artifical material. The no murdered animals part was just a joke! Then she gets all uppity about me polluting the environment with my man-made boots, when it was her asking about them in the first place, not me. I got a good laugh out of it, though. *lol* ^_^ Don't worry. People should know that half the answers they get here won't be accurate and that google.com is better. This guy's pretty sad if he has enough time on his hands that he's gonna go all anal-retentive on the Yahoo! Answers users. Pity him rather than be hurt by him. *hug*

I know how you feel but the sad thing is, you should be glad he was concerned with answering the question. Many of the questions I pose, people don't even really read or they just give 1 word answers. They just want their 2 points. It's really annoying.

i know people can be really annoying on here. i made a joke about a past life (a JOKE) and someone emailed me yelling at me about how crazy i was for thinking past lives existed. they proceeded to tell me to go find jesus and get some intelligence. ridiculous! i almost took the email me option off but i have also gotten some great emails so i haven't yet.

Don't worry what people say to you. I know it's hard at first, but now I actually laugh when people get all upset and defensive about my answers.

people can be such jerks because they are most of the time so shallow themselves that inorder to get the light off of them they try to be mean to other people or because they just have nothing else better to do
