Because he's sadistic. Or... in pirate-speak...
Yar, he be one mighty sadistic bastard, says I.
Oh, and fireball, he CAN'T know the choices we make before we make them? Hi, ever heard of omniscience? Know what it means? Did you know that it's a characteristic commonly attributed to YOUR deity? >>I<< know that omniscience and free will don't mix, but are you actually admitting to knowing that and STILL BEING A CHRISTIAN?

It has been asked a million times...and answered a million times too. Some people just get so caught up in the sublimity of their questions that they forget to pay attention to the answers...
The answer is, "So that millions more could go to Heaven".
God gave *you* the choice. The apparent contradiction caused by Her knowledge of your choice beyond time to which we (not She) are bound is a limitation of us (not Her). And that doesn't make Her plan any more good or evil. The very question admits that were Her plan not to be executed none would be saved.
Wasteful, don't you think? Hmm. Possibly, but nature's like that too and the zebra don't even get to choose... Maybe you should spend some self-righteous moral outrage on the lions?

God has a plan for you and he does have your life written out, but he doesn't make you do what HE wants you to do. There is temptation in the world and God expects you to make the right decision. People that go to Hell, they get there because they put themselves there. When you are doing something that you know isn't right and you have that feeling you should stop doing it, that's the good trying to direct you in the right direction to follow through with Gods plan, not your own!

Its hard to reconcile that in ones mind isnt it, God is love, yet God sends you to an eternal lake of fire for rejecting him. Organized religion is a tool used to control people and nothing more. Im a religious person still though, I believe there is a God, I cant look at everything and think otherwise.I believe in creation through evolution. Its hard to reconcile and accept alot of the Bible.Such as free will yet also pre determination yes? I look at the Bible, as not fact but metaphors for how one should live their life.
So I guess my point is that I dont absolutely believe in the whole lake of fire eternal damnation thing, I look at as, if you arent satisfied and at peace with yourself, then your life is like an eternal fire that can not be quenched, because you are always wanting more and more, and wanting what you cant have.

Lets take a movie.. "Wizard Of Oz" for example. Lets say you have not seen it but I have. I know everything that happens in the movie. And just for fun lets say I know how you will react to it because I know you real well.
You are still free to see the movie and react to it and get from it all you want to get. What differance is it that I have already seen it?
Now those people who died without knowing the law were not under the law of GOD. There is another law but I wont bore you with it. But those who know the law are now under the law. If you asked this question guess what? :) I am afraid you know the deal and are free to make a choice.
You asked. I answerd.
GOD bless ya.

The One True God has successively sent down through His Divine Messengers a perfect plan for man to conduct a gloriously eternal life in this world and in the world to come.
Moreover, God endows man with the free will in order that man can wisely and worthily choose to accomplish this high destiny, that is his heaven.
If man decides to follow any lower goals, he condems himself to failure, to shame, and that is his freely chosen hell. God does not interfere in man's choice, but He always bestows Divine guidance when man humbly and sincerely prays for it.

He desires that no man goes to hell. Do you think He is glad that so many choose not to believe in Him. However, He can not lie. He said you must believe in His son. It's that simple. You have a choice Don't blame God when you make the wrong choice. You can never say you didn't know.

Please, why do we keep getting this kind of question from those who don't understand Christianity? God's plan was not for millions (or any) to go to Hell. However, humanity, including every person except Jesus Christ, fell into sin, by our own choices. Yahweh, while loving and merciful, is also a God of righteousness and justice. He gives humanity chance after chance after chance to repent, yet we so often refuse. He, by His nature, does not allow sin into the realm of Heaven, and separates it from himself, though it causes him pain beyond human understanding to do so, to condemn any one person to eternal torment. Yet he is still a righteous God, and he will still do so.

It was never God's plan to send people to hell... in fact he doesn't people choose to go to hell by rejecting God... We have a choice and there are consequences for our choices whether we like it or not.
God knows things that we don't and acts accordingly. We can't understand why he does what he does... that's why it's called FAITH.
