Then I weaned myself off the Excedrin by taking every 6 hours, then every 8 hours, etc. Just by stopping the Cokes, I lost 35 pounds in 9 weeks. Now, the only thing I drink is water, one gallon a day, and OJ at breakfast.
And remember that, even though it's Diet Coke, it still raises your blood sugars.

Diet Coke is not necessarily bad.. however if you are Dieting you should really opt for water. It's better for you and doesn't dehydrate like soda. If your not big on the water taste, try Crystal light to go packets. You just empty the packets into a bottle of water. It's really good, and it comes in a variety of flavors, and the best is that it's only 5 calories and No Sugar. Try the Iced tea. mmmm.

Have your Coke. But do make it diet Coke. It has NO calories whatsoever. So you don't have to worry about gaining weight. I've been drinking diet Coke for years now. It's great. And the diet coke DOES NOT put on weight. Just read the nutrition chart listed on the bottle. It TELLS you it has NO calories. Something that has NO calories does not make anyone gain weight. SO keep drinking the diet, and enjoy your COKE again.

A liter a day of diet coke is not healthy. Just because it doesn't have the calories, it still has a lot of other unhealthy substances. It has caramel coloring, which is bad for your teeth. The carbonation is not good for your stomach. The food coloring is unhealthy. The artificial sweetener causes cancer, possibly, and I am sure is not good for your body in other ways. Try drinking water, or flavored water such as Vitamin Water. Tea is also a good alternative, but a liter a day of any of these, except water of course, is a little excessive.

lol a litre a day is not so good but don't cut it out all together.. get off it slowly drink less everyday till you get to the point where you just need a glass 2-3 x a week that's not too bad... swap coke to diet slowly 2 eg 1 glass regular 1 glass diet and so on.

Diet cokes are much better than regular cokes. No calories. I'm a Dr.Pepper freak and I can't change. I can't even drink the diet kind so good luck!
