Friday, October 13th is notable because it commemorates the day the Templars were rounded up and slaughtered by King Phillip IV of France. I hate to rain on your parade, but it has nothing to do with magic, however you want to spell it.

I can't wait =D I love Samhain! I usually don't do anything special for it. I usually just light black candles (for the banishment of evil) and meditate and find great peace.

Friday the 13th is always a blast because of the Jason Vorhees marathons that are on!

In our home, Samhain is a time of enjoying the harvest, honoring our ancestors, and is the end/beginning of our half-year. It is also a time for introspection and divination. For a good article on Samhain:

I would suggest a ceremony of sorts that lets you honor the ones that are closest to you. Whatever you think is right do it. There are no right or wrong ways to celebrate something if it is important to you.
