This is a bit fishy. If you went to a clinic telling them you had already done a pee test....they would have done the blood tests instead....and results would have been availible shortly there after. Also, clinics are equiped with ultrasound machines that can detect early pregnancy also (unless conception has been in the last week or so, but then a home test wouldn't have been positve yet)
Also, there are such things as false positives...and many factors other than pregnancy can lead to a missed period.
Find yourself another doc...preferably NOT at a clinic. Or, at a different clinic. You were not treated sufficiently

Since you already ha one + test you are pregnant. It is EXTREMELY rare to get a false +. A blood test will confirm pregnancy as little as 7-10 days after possible conception.

I had the same problem and ended up doing 9 pregnancy tests! in the end I was pregnant. You can do as many as time and money will let you theres no law to say you have to do it every 7 days or whatever, get another and fingers crossed for you whichever way you want it to go x

I would get the blood test, I also had my last period on August 1st and I had to have a blood test because there wasn't even of the hormone or whatever in my urine. Get the blood test and if you are congrats.

Sounds like you need a second opinion. I was 3 months pregnant with my second child before it ever showed up with the doctor and my home pregnancy tests kept showing positive. Better get that checked again.

Doctors dont necessarily take blood tests or pregnacy tests if you've already done a home test and its positive! My GP said your pregnant if the home test is positive and referred me to the hospital for a routine check up!!

Just wait for the blood test results from the doctor. There isn't much more you can do in the mean time. Try not to worry though. The doctor will sort you out.

i would take another test just to ease my mind and if it is positive then you know - blood test will confirm but i was told you can never get a false positive but you can get a false negative. Good Luck

I kept mine in a bag and kept checking it for days after to make sure I wasn't going mad. Forgot to put it in the bin and found it the other day (14 weeks after I did the first test) and it was still positive! lol!
Wouldn't recommend checking it after a few hours though really as it's only accurate straight away.

do another test try clear blue digital they are over 99% accurate and will give you the answer you are looking for. you could do that as soon as you want even today if you want although the first morning urine is the best to test.
