Go see a doctor; you do not want to get infections.

As a former cutter, I can tell you that while it relieves frustration, it is exceedingly temporary! You'd be better off (and safer) popping bubble wrap. Try venting frustration through other means. Writing, drawing, painting, video/computer games, singing, acting, role-playing. The list goes on and on.

There are serious downsides to cutting. You could get an infection. You could cut too deep and bleed to death. You could end up loosing a limb (depending on where you cut and/or whether there's an infection). You could end up physically scarred for life, like me. I can tell you from the bottom of my heart--it's not worth it!

If you need someone to talk to, a therapist is always a good idea. If you are under 18 and still living with your parents, see if they will get you a therapist. If they won't, see if your school has a counselor you can talk to. If you are an adult, of course you can skip the parental consent and make an appointment with a therapist on your own. Whenever possible, talk to friends and/or family that you know will be sympathetic to your problems. You could also find support groups, either in your community or online. Much luck to you!

Lock yourself in a room with no sharp cornered objects, and stay there for the rest of your life

I think you should see a dr. or try and talk to someone about what your are feeling. There are people out there that care about you and that love you and they dont want this for you.
