Yes. Only the fresh, and bagged spinach. Not frozen.

Just eat your spinach. Banning all spinach in the country until ... uh... whoknowswhat... is a complete overreaction. 3 people in the whole country got sick. WHOOPDEEDOO! I really don't understand why they haven't been able to track the spinach to its source. The people who got sick all ate bagged spinach, so they must be able to figure out what brand it was, and if they still have the bag, what batch # it was from, and what farm that batch got its spinach from. Why it's such a mystery with no end in sight is highly suspicious. I have to think some spinach farmer pissed off the Bush Administration.

And yes, no one is mentioning that cooking the spinach is a perfectly good way to kill the E. Coli.

This is why you're supposed to wash your hands after using the bathroom, people. E. Coli comes from your crap.

If you cook it at or over 160 for 15 sec, it should kill the bacteria regardless. But frozen should be fine, the recall was only on fresh spinach.

Don't know, I think I would avoid all. Also keep in mind there is fresh spinach in lots of the pre-packaged salads.

From watching CNN this morning they were saying it's mostly prepackaged salad bags that contain spinach. It should not affect the frozen kind.
