For my daughters preschool class we have meetings when all the parents come once a week. All parents have to bring a snack one time only, what kind of snack should I bring? Other parents have brought popcorn, strawberry tarts, and fruit smoothies. I need ideas and recipes please.

How about a relish tray with baby carrots, celery sticks, black olives, green olives, cauliflower and broccoli, and a tub of french onion or ranch dip.

OR

Sausage-Cheese Balls

These little appetizers make a big hit with any crowd. The following recipe is directly from the Bisquick website. (I make this recipe using the low-fat Bisquick, and reduced fat sausage and reduced fat cheeses, and I can't tell much difference in the taste and I save lots of calories!)

3 cups Original Bisquick® mix
1 pound bulk pork sausage
4 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (16 ounces)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup milk
1/2 teaspoon dried rosemary leaves
1/2 teaspoon parsley flakes
Barbecue sauce or chili sauce, if desired

1 . Heat oven to 350ºF. Lightly grease bottom and sides of jelly roll pan, 15 1/2x10 1/2x2x1 inch.
2 . Stir together all ingredients, using hands or spoon. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls. Place in pan.
3 . Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until brown. Immediately remove from pan. Serve warm with sauce for dipping.

Mix together peanuts and candy corn in a bowl. Great fall snack. It may sound weird, but it is always a crowd pleaser

Home baked cookies...maybe in the shape of kid's hands? You could use a sugar cookie recipe or a gingerbread recipe. Or just gingerbread boys and girls, one representing each kid in the class.
