I like the texture of a waffle a lot better than that of a pancake. I think the batter is a little richer, too, and makes for a better tasting product.
Plus, I am an overgrown kid, and it's fun to try and fill up all those little wells with syrup!

It's not that strange. I love pancakes but don't care for waffles at all. I think it is something about the texture because the ingredients are pretty much the same...sc

Funny, I'm the opposite. I love pancakes, but waffles are just so-so. My kids like both.
Of course, I like grits AND oatmeal, so I'm just a weirdo anyway.

Same here...something about waffles...even tried eating pancakes after stomping them with a golf shoe...it didnt work.Maybe football cleats would have worked better.

well i like all Italian food except pizza...i will eat it occasionally so my fiancee can have one ..but not crazy i guess even though the waffles and pancakes are basically the same it a mind thing
