Diet and exercise are your best bets ... especially if you are carrying extra weight.

Do some cardio exercises 20-45 minutes at least 5 or 6 days a week. You should also do weight training.

The good way to weight train is to pick a different body part each day ... for example:

Monday - Chest
Tuesday - Legs & Gludes
Wednesday - Abs & Arms
Thursday - Back
Friday - Shoulders
Saturday - Just Cardio -- no weights
Sunday - Rest

This is just an example ... you can vary it any way you want. I'm sure you'll get a myrid of opinions on the matter.

Good excerises for the chest are the Chest Press, the Military Press and of course good old fashion push-ups. As for the abs, crunches (both front & sides), V-lifts, and medicine balls are good.

Finally, true gynecomastia may not be helped by diet and excercise alone. It may need to be surgically removed by a Plastic Surgeon. Try the diet and excercise ideas first and then talk to a doctor if you are not getting the results you crave.

Best of luck!!!

There's no specific exercise but just a general increase in metabolism would help. Like walk to work, for example. The most important thing is to get checked out by the GP first. It can be a sign of too much weight but also a hormone imbalance. It's best to get checked out as, as long as there's no lumps it can be dealt with. Breast cancer doesn't only effect women. You could tone up by using what's called a pec dec for they are pectoral muscles but it would be better to lose weight if that's what it is.

gynecomastia is an inherited trait and generally requires surgery to resolve. Abs, like the lovely six packs you see on tv are achieved thru rigorous exercise routines AND genetics. Some men and women never get abs no matter how they exercise.

You just need to lose weight all over, you can't direct weight loss to specific areas.

Try running or swimming.
