I use mine a lot. I like it very much, though it is difficult to clean if things get stuck between the slats.
You can stack one on top of another up to a pile of 5 or so, and steam multiple things at one time. No other steamer (that I know of) allows for this efficiency.

I actually prefer my little metal steamer that fits down inside the pot... my ex had a bamboo steamer and it was a chore to clean!

they are ok for more than i steamed item but i have a metal one that fits different size pots it open and closes and easy to clean not like bamboo

Why would you want to steam bamboo and what does that have to do with cooking??
