There's this guy on my swim team who's two years older than me. I'm a freshman and he's a junior. He's offered me rides many times and stayed with me while I was waiting for my ride once although my coach was still there waiting with me also. Once at a swim meet, he kept bringing up guys who are on the team and asking if I liked any one of them. He gives me compliments about things and when this other girl on my swim team asked him to go with her to homecoming as friends he said yes. When she was telling me about it. He came up and jokingly asked me if I was jealous. I think it's over a 6 month period that he did all this. At homecoming he complimented me on how I looked and asked if I came with a date. He asked me about the guys I danced with. But when we email he usually gives 5 word answers and I know he's really nice to everyone. So does he like me?
Sorry if you already answered my question. Everybody says that i should make the first move but he's a JUNIOR and I'm a FRESHMAN.

sweetheart it doen't matter if you are a freshman or what, if you like him, then tell him that. By the sound of it he really likes you because he's spending way too much time finding reasons to talk to you or be around you. find out if he's immature because the last thing you need is him telling you that he's not interested and running around the school telling everyone that you asked him out. But, don't make any decisions that you will regret. If you like this guy go for it so you don't have to wonder later in life if he really liked you. GO FOR IT GIRL! GOOD LUCK!

Hmm. As I read your question at first he seems like a great guy and you should date him. But towards the end as you stated he does this with the other girl and then ask me about it and such. He sounds like a player and you need to avoid him. Sorry to be so rash but that's what I think about it. Be careful is all I'm saying girl. Shoot you could date me if you wanted LOL. JOKE.

my bf is 12 years older than me and i still had to make the first move. better to make a move and get hurt then spend your whole life wondering.i like to find things out the hard way than never find out and regret it. if he is such a nice guy he might get tired of waiting, meet a nice girl, and you will get left in the dust. regretting you never made a move. so go for it girl.

Seems to me like he likes you. You should ask him to a movie or see if he wants to go for a walk.... Does he like other sports besides swimming? You could challenge him to a one on one game of Basket ball.... Or a swim race, the looser has to buy the winner DINNER

Yea he likes you. If you can't ask him out then do the high school thing, get one of your mutual friends to act as a intermediary.

I would say he likes you. If you dont want to ask him out because toyr to shy hint to him if he asked you out you would say yes or try to put a gruop of friends togeather and ask him to hang out with you that way.
