I think a doctor can give you this weird little test called an allergy test where they put different dabs of what could be allergens to you on your skin. It looks really strange when they have you all decked out in these little spots!
Also, being in tune with your body could be good. My husband loves mangoes but he is allergic to them. But the allergy didn't show up for like 3 or 4 days after he ate them. We only buy mangoes at certain parts of the year and this year only two times- and he got it both times- a weird scaly patch around his mouth and a general sweling of the face- once when he ate it the first time, and the second to see if that was what was doing it. Sure enough! However I wouldn't recommend doing this if you were highly allergic to something, of course! LOL

I don't think you can find out unless you come into contact with it. If you have an allergic reaction, then you must be allergic.

See a doctor called an allergist. They do skin testing to determine what you may or maynot be allergic too.

Have an appointment scheduled for allergy testing. From the tests they can tell you what you are allergic to.

You just simply go to your doctor and ask for an allergy test. They can tell you the things that irritate you and the things that don't.
