Of course you can be happy and single.

Its what ever feels best for you. Dont think that you have to be in a relationship to be happy.

xx

You can be happy & single and you can be happy and married but you can also be miserable and single or married I guess it all depends on the people involved and how the relationship and attitudes are.
I've been totally miserable and suicidal in a marriage but now I'm totally happy, never been happier in my current marriage but I have been totally happy & satisfied being single it all depends on how you view the situation you are in and what you want to happen in your life

being single means that you have your space to yourself and only those you let in. but sometimes you miss the feeling of sharing intimate and fun times with someone special and could find yourself seeking some form of affection from any number of other people. i was happy being single but now i feel i need that someone special in my life. so I'll say for a while you can be happy while you explore yourself, but later with lonely nights and empty seats the happiness soon fades at least for the most part

yes i can say they are happy but sometimes u really need somebody close to you or who can tell u how special u are and at e same time when u have just been hurt the u will say i will stay single but as long as u forgot then u will probably need to go into a relatioship again, so its difficult whether u a single or not.

Oh my god...YES. Of course, reasons to be unhappy when you are with someone:

They take the all the covers (and if you're really unlucky they may turn over and elbow you in the head as you sleep....oh yes, it hurts).

They always turn the t.v over when you want to watch it.

You can't just think about yourself, you have to compromise.....

The list goes on. There are pro's and con's to living in singledom or being partnered up. Better to wait for the right person, than take second best and be miserable later. You can be happy when you are single....ENJOY!

Well not really. In America, most people that have depression are single. They get depression because they don't have a partner anymore. Almost the only person they see are their children(if they have any). So I would say that nobody should be single too long. But you should choose a life companion that you think will stay with you forever and you will stay with them forever.

You should be happy and single before you;re happy in a relationship - only way it'll work by being happy in yourself.

Yes you can also be in a relationship and unhappy. Being with someone doesn't make you happy, only being confortable with where you are in life can do that (even if it does sound a bit hippyish), being happy in your own mind is all that matters everything else is just social materialism, projecting an image of yourself to others.

You can be miserable in a relationship. I'm lucky, I've a great GF, and we're happy, but happy and single is possible.

And sometimes, the grass really is greener on t'other side.
