The Hudson Rivers estuary is in the Atlantic Ocean that runs between New York and New Jersey seperating Jersey City and Manhattan. It ends near a town called Warrensburg, Ny at the foot of the Adirondak Mountains. The total milage 315.

The Hudson enters NY Harbor and is extremely wide and deep as one goes north passed Manhattan. As you go North it get narrower. ON high tide the river reverses and salt walter flows about 5o miles north. It was once the maim transportion for the US with boats going up to Albany, and then West on the Erie Canal, into the grea Lakes, and down the MIssissippi.

The Hudson river runs along the west side of Manhattan, between Manhattan and New Jersey. It then runs up into the state of New York, through Sleepy Hollow, Poughkeepsie, Albany, and north of Albany into Adirondack Park.
