i really like this guy, and i dont know how to ask him out. i am in the 6th grade, middle school, and alot of people are doing it. so how do i get him alone? how do i ask him? flirting? any ideas? please, thanks, and very thorough answers please. im new to the dating pool.

At your age, you shouldn't be dating, nor asking him out, nor getting him alone, nor flirting. What is your mom thinking? This is the time in your life to study, make good grades, play sports, learn to sew, take care of your pet, help your dad and mom. In the next 10 years you could learn a lot to make yourself worthy of looking for a life-time mate. At your age, be simple, be friends, be nothing else!

First of all you're too young to be so worried and caught up in this dating game thing. You're in 6th grade so focus on you and your studies. Get good grades, study hard and have a life with girl and guy friends. Friends first. Then if in a few years when you finally hit highschool or the upper middleschool grades if you two still like eachother and I'm sure you will so much more then then date the boy. Girl you may have found out by then he's the potential ONE for you. Maybe so maybe not but try it. First for now just be friends with him and give yourself time to grow up litterally age wise and all the things that come with age. Good luck girl.

You are freaking out over nothing. Smile back- say "Hello"- act like you talk to people everyday. Socializing is a learning process. Stop worrying about getting this boy alone or asking him out. You are too young to drive so you are too young to be dating, no matter what everyone else is saying they are doing. If a girl says she is dating in the 6th grade, she is lying. If you are 12 years old, a boy 16 years old he will go to jail for dating you. I know you don't want to hear that you are too young, but at sometime in our lives we all were too young to do something we wanted to. Just talk to the boy . Speak slowly and try not to stutter.

Sweetie 6th grade is so confusing, it is good that your curious it means your healthy but honestly, (and I know you don't want to hear this) you are way to young to be worried about these types of things. just because as you say "everyone is doing it" does not mean you have to as well. You should try group activities with friends and family as a way to get to know each other but only that, getting to know eachother. Your to young to be letting boys be your top priority. AND if you can't talk to your mom then find another woman in your family that you can trust to discuss your issues.

Just talk to him get to know him first as a friend before you jump into something you wish you had waited. And remeber just because everyone else is doint it ....wel you know the rest. Also sometimes grades go down and it seems like this person is the only thing thats important but its not you have your whole life ahead of you. Take your time and good luck

6th grade? you might want to think of being friends first, and dont get too serious about "dating" yet.
honey, i am in the 9th grade, and i am nowhere near the dating pool. which i am not so sure is something to be proud of...but...
be friendly, smile talk to him sit next to him when he wants to sit next to you and so on and so forth. i bet he likes you. :)

well first of all you are in 6th grade i know when i was in 6th grade that was when i got my first kiss and that wasa a huge thing to me. it will be hard for him to understand why you are trying to tell him that you like him when all he is intrested in is video games. sit next to him at the lunch table or something like that an talk to him tell him you8 want to hangout on the weekend or something see how that works!

Straight up ask him if hes doing anything this week!
Say there is this great movie u would like to see at the show and that it would be fun to go together!
But don't get upset if he can't go, some parent's still don't
approve kids going out so young!
