Honestly.... No.

We might learn to use a little percentage more maybe in the future – especially through evolution. However, in the here and now, I do not see us humans ever using all 100%. This is especially because of two main reasons: there is no need for such massive brain usage (although it would be nice) and our simple 10% is more than efficient for our daily activities. Some of us do not even fully utilize this! I would image that in order to “unlock” or “open” the remaining 90% we would have to either evolve naturally (and very slowly) into utilizing it, or manually put forth great endurance and mental study into achieving this. Both options are seemingly farfetched, especially the latter one, since many cognitive studies have found that we are actually getting more intellectually lethargic with the inventions of calculators, spell check, computers, etc… As far as what the remaining percentage of the brain does while unused, I would guess the rest of the brain is not necessary just sitting with 90% empty space. Instead, all of it is just focused on that 10% of regular things we do daily. So, in my opinion, which it is only that, I do not think we will be using it anytime soon. But one day in the distant future... sure... maybe.

good question although I think most of us use more than that ..I think is 70 something but the more you use the brain and challenge it (learn) the more I think that percent is to go up ..I think its good that we only can use this much some of us don't need that much power
