Heres my situation:
Im without a car and a license b/c I was driving without insurance & had my L's taken away for driving under suspension....Should I just stop dating b/c I dont have a car or lic? I feel like no guys will want to talk to me if I dont have all the normal things other girls have....I would always have to be picked up & dropped off at my house, im knida feeling low rite now, there is a guy Im interested in but Im afraid to ask him out b/c I dont want to get rejected b/c i feel like a loser. What do you guys think??? THX!

you are not a loser pal. it just happened that you dont have what you think a girl must have while dating guys.
you can always have the things you wanted when you land a job
and men isnt after of the material possessions of a female. and you can figure that out when you can find your self a true man. ;)

I think that you should ask him out. Just don't tell him the reasons why you do not have a car. This way he will never know. And secondly, if he is a real gentleman, he will pick you up whether or not you had a car in the first place. So be confident, and don't worry about it. Your problems will eventually solve, so live out your life.

I'm in the same situation, the only difference is that I suffer from epileptic seizures, which sucks because people with this condition can't drive. On the other hand, have some confidence and don't feel down, because that's not a good thing. Don't listen to other people's comments because you know that they aren't true.

I guess I'm not normal then.
I've never had my licence, let alone a car. That didn't stop my guy from seeing me. We've been together 10 years now and I still don't drive lol.
Having a car or a licence doesn't take away from your personality. If a guy really likes you it won't matter what possessions you have ... or don't.

Did it not use to be customary for a guy to pick up the girl? How in the hell can you think someone won't like you cause you don't have all the normal things other girls have. Most girls I know don't even own their own car. It is borrowed or it belongs to their BF.

Well, were I your age (and I'm not) I wouldn't date you but not because you don't have a car but because you are irresponsible. If you feel like a loser there is probably a reason. What is that reason? And, most importantly, how can you change that reason?

If any guys reject you simply because you don't have a car, ignore them, they are not worth the effort. A good guy would be happy to give you a ride when you need one (and not just for dates).

It happens...I got my license when I was 18 got them suspended within 3 months then didn't get them back till I was like 20..I always had girls they just had to pick me up and drop me off..I used to date girls just for rides...Thats pretty low but hey I was young..

Guys should always pick you up and drop you off, whether you have a car or not. perhaps your just dating the wrong kind of guy, because it wouldn't matter to me one way or another.

I know some girls here that don't even have a license. I have mine, but I haven't driven in like 3 years
