I have been involved in drug testing business for a long time. Whether or not you will test positive depends on several factors. You said that you haven't smoked in 5 days but what really matters if how often you smoked before that. If a person smokes everyday you can test positive for up to 30 days after quitting.

I do NOT recommend that you drink a ton of water because that will lower your creatinine levels which is like a red flag in drug testing. The first thing that people do to hide something is to drink a TON of water thinking it will flush out their system.

Also, DO NOT go and buy anything from a health food store that promises to block the drug test. They generally contain nitrates. They DO NOT work and anyhow the labs now test for nitrates and the company that you are going to work for may construe that as a positive. They most likely will have you retest.

Also, do not try to bring anybody else's urine. The specimen cups have a temperature range on them and you will not be able to keep the urine in the acceptable temp. range. That will also create a red flag.

All you can do is hope that you have given it enough time for enough to get out of your system so that you are not in the positive range.

If you do have a positive result the results will take a lot longer than a negative test. Generally a negative test is reported within 24 hours of when the lab receives it, so approx. 48 hours from when you give the sample.

Also, if the company uses an MRO (Medical Review Officer-an M.D. that reviews the test, they will call you to see if you have a valid reason for having THC in your system, which you don't. If you receive that call you will know that you have tested positive.

Good luck and I hope that you give it up for good. My ex-fiancee loved his pot and we broke up when he got into an accident and he lost his job and we went into financial hell because of it.

A friend of mine bought some kit at a store that sells related products, and it was about $70. I believe it was a 24 hour deal, and it was a real pain to drink stuff every hour, and I recall he said it tasted horrible. Anyway, your best bet might be to try to make the test tomorrow not clear, so you will have to take another test. That will give you time to clean out your system. Drink as much water as humanly possible, and eat a lot of water soluable vitamins, such as B vitamins. The combination should dillute your urine, and cloud it with the vitamins, so they can't get a clear reading. Good luck.

You must make sure you urinate before you do your drug test. Do not do your first urination at your drug test - you will fail. Try to make it your 3rd or 4th urination of the day and drink alot of water. If you take B vitamins about an hour before you go with an 8 ounce glass of water you will have a better chance of passing. This is the easiest advice you can take without spending alot of money on a detox solution to pass it. You could also try milk thistle to clean out your system. It isnt all that much money (less than $10.00 for a bottle) Check out GNC for Milk Thistle or just get some B vitamins at Wal-Mart and take my advice about trying to urinate 2-3 times before you do your test. You do not have to take more than 3 8 ounce glasses of water that day, but if you do, take 2x dosage of b vitamins when you drink your water. Not only is this healthy but you can get some energy out of it too. Good Luck!!

Wow you are cutting it pretty close there. But I have tried niacin pills and they seem to work(when taken with lots of water), but be careful these pills make you really hot and turn red. I took a few too many and I felt like I was on fire. But from now on I say screw drug testing. I don't care if I pass it is not worth quitting smoking weed.

This will work.....
On the day of your test, boil a gallon of water and steep some chamomile tea in it. You have to drink the entire thing and you're good for up to 3 pees before your test.

I've also heard drinking tons of cranberry juice works... & oh yeah, pickle juice!

If you want something more reliable than tea, go to your local headshop & pick up a bottle of Extra Clean. That'll work!

You can drink as much water as you want, that will not help. Go to GNC. They have both pills and drinks that are supposed to help. I'm afraid that you've cut it a bit too close. Had you thought about this a couple of days ago, you would have a better chance of passing. Go to GNC NOW!! Good luck.

drink lots of cranberry juice and go to a head shop and tell them you need to flush out your system (be careful you don't say its for drugs or they wont sell it to him, they prob wont ask for what its for but if they do just say health purposes) Theirs this stuff called vale I used for a drug test for my current job (I smoked right before using it then still passed :]) It tastes really good and only costs like 40 bucks, which is worth passing a drug test. Nope. THC (the fun stuff in weed) is an alcohol and therefore insoluble in water, drinking a lot of it will just make you healthier lol. The cranberry juice and vinegar won't work either since they don't alter your blood once they get absorbed. I've HEARD a drop or two of laundry-type bleach in the piss cup does the trick. But thats just from my stoner friends and weed makes you stupid. How about you just don't smoke weed anymore? Besides being dumb and lazy, it makes it hard for people to respect you. Grow up.

Well, after smoking marijuana it stays in your system for approximately 30 days (1 month). Drinking water isn't going to help the process speed up since water is something that people usually take in every day. Sorry! Hopefully something goes wrong with the drug test and you somehow pass!

Go to STARSHIP or any adult novelty store. They have plenty of stuff that you can take that will have you clean in as little as 20 minutes. I don't smoke, but I have lots of friend who do. The bottle of liquid that you drink is goint to cost you at least $30 bucks. Good Luck
