For all us non-Brits here, I had to look this up. It does NOT mean doggy-style. Here is what it means (from Wikipedia):

Dogging is a British euphemism for engaging in sexual acts in a semi-public place (typically a secluded car park or a movie theater) or watching others doing so. Frequently, there are more than two participants; group sex and sometimes even gang bangs can occur. Observation is encouraged, thus voyeurism and exhibitionism are closely associated with dogging. The two sets of people involved often meet either randomly or (increasingly) arrange to meet-up beforehand over the internet.

Health officials fear that sexual promiscuity due to dogging is one reason for the renewed rising incidence of sexually transmitted diseases.

In September 2003, the BBC reported on the 'new' dogging craze. They cited the Internet and text messaging as very common ways of organising meetings. The original definition of dogging (and which is still a closely-related activity) is spying on couples having sex in a car or other public place. This can become habitual and is a paraphilia known as voyeurism.

Dogging once attracted mass media attention (particularly when Stan Collymore was reported to participate[1]), to the point that it has become difficult for couples to casually park at a recognised dogging site without almost immediately being surrounded by a circle of rather pushy (and sometimes rather intimidating) single males. This led to harassment of members of the public on some occasions, police involvement, and a tendency for some couples to move their activities to other locations and towards 'soft-swinging'.


If it's common enough to be listed in Wikipedia, it is pretty common.

yes peeps do it more than wot u might think .. and if u google dogging sites u'll find them all over the country I was surprised how many places there were to go near to where i live ..though if u gonna do it then u gotta take in to consideration peeps might recognise u by ur number plate but hey ho just take care and dont b silly like that copper who lost his job doin it in uniform though dont know how the couple could complain when they let him join in more than once ..

yes people do this all the time in car parks or trailer parks. never done it nor will i ever but they usually advertise in the daily and sunday sport paper. don't do it you never know what the ladies have and you don't know if you are being set up for something else

Are you referring to the movie "Bully"? If so it is used in that movie when referring to racing on a beach. The tires dig into the sand like a dog. It is also used in the movie to indicate anal sodomy.
