1st off she is still too young to have a litter, She should be at least 1 1/2 yrs old before having pups, Having pups that early can cause her to refuse her pups, Anyway the answer to your question, Vulva will stay slightly swollen after heat cycle ends, teets will be enlarged and turn pinkish, She might also get morning sickness in the 2nd week, This can also happen with a false pregnancy. Within week 3 or 4 she should start gaining weight If small litter she might not show till she is almost due. I had a chi who had a false pregnancy, and One thing i can tell you too look out for is weight gain, Mine never gained weight which is how I new she wasn't pregnant. Well good luck and here is a web sight that might help.

The dog's nipples will swell (or elongate) and turn pinkish.
Her midsection will start to round out.
She may have the doggy version of "morning sickness" and spontaneously vomit on occasion.

Keep in mind, however, that the physical signs of pregnancy in dogs appear when the dog is already about 40 days into its 60-day pregnancy. By that time, most vets will not terminate the pregnancy because the fetuses are too far along in their development.

If you want to make sure she doesn't have pups, get her spayed now.

If you want her to keep her pups, we recommend that you do as much reading as possible on the subject so you're well-prepared to help her through her pregnancy, delivery and the weaning of her pups.

You didn't say how large your terrier was. If he's larger than your Chi, and she's pregnant with his pups, you'll have to keep a close eye on her pregnancy. If the pups are larger than her body can handle, she's going to be in alot of trouble as her pregnancy progresses.

This is a BIG responsibility. Take it seriously.

First, I would do a "wait and see" scenario. If your puppy begins gaining weight ONLY in the mid-section, take her in for an ultrasound appx 6 weeks after the suspected breeding. You should never leave an unneutered male and a female in heat together, because breeding is almost always the result.

Get both dogs spayed/neutered since you aren't properly looking after them, which likely means you won't have a clue as to how to help her whelp if she is pregnant, nor will you know how to look after puppies.
