I am making some oatmeal cookies and just realized, half way through making the batch, that I am out of eggs. Is there anything I could use as a substitute? I really don't feel like running to the store.

Ask the help of a neighbour. Most people have eggs spare in the kitchen.
Don't be proud, not many people would mind. In fact they might be happy to help.
We asked once for self-raising flour, later we sent a cake slice over for them to try.
Months later they had a B B Q and we were invited to try their lovely tasty cooked dishes. It could start a new friendship.

Use a 1/8 of a cup per egg. It works wonders, trust me.

you might try cream of tartar a teaspoon per egg or less. Of course you'll now be running to the store for cream of tartar HA-HA

mayo my grandmother used to put mayo in substatue for eggs in her brownies or cookies if she didn't have eggs. i think its 1/4 cup per egg.
