no being in a long relationship dose not scare guys well it dose not scare me any way in would not bother me if i found out that the person that i have just met has just come out of a long relationship. i would just look at it as a normal lady but some guys would think they are on the rebound

I wouldnt go explaining your past relationship details on a 1st date as this can scare some guys, Im sure they will be curious and it might be worth speaking about it as the relationship is progressing.

Everyone has their own reasons why ppl break up and it doesnt matter when they do it. If you find someone and they love you they shouldnt judge you on past relationships - they should judge you as a person that they respect and love.

Its better to have realised that its not working and made your own choice than to have just gone with it for the sake of it - you should get more respect for that.

Good luck! xxx

If it does then why do you need that sort of a guy in the first place?

If it does by any chance scare them then I would advise you to wear a sign on your head saying "I've just come out of a 6 year relationship." It would make your job of choosing the decent ones from the rubbish a lot easier.

depends on the guy. he might look at u & think that because u have ur own place etc & he might think that u lookindependent so this could get him thinking that what does this girl need me for? if u say that ur enjoying the single life then u need 2 ask why u need a man 2 scare off in the 1st place

try to take some time before jumping back into a relationship. It shouldn't scare guys as long as you have healed from the break up. Guys get scared away by extra baggage so make sure you check your baggage in the overhead bin befroe flying on the next jet...haha that was cheesy but hopefully you get the point.

It could. But don't mention your relationship on the first date. I take it you're not looking for another serious relationship yet, so I'd make that clear to any new guys you encounter.

Enjoy your newfound freedom, and remember there's someone out their just waiting to meet you!

Best of luck!

So you are trotting into the paddock for the second time round, big deal! As long as you don't talk about your ex all the time or say things like "My Ex boyfriend didn't do that" or "My Ex had a massive chopper" then you should be fine.

Only those that are easily intimidated... Guys may assume that you have high expectations on how a guy should behave and the level of commitment he should have toward you.

It would probably raise red flags with some; however, you don't have to go into detail re. your personal life on the first date.
