Remaining silent is a deep answer to your question. Jesus also remained silent when asked if he heard how people spoke against him. Apparently he did not even hear the question.

Truth is often the same as a fact, but extends to opinions as well. I would say a truth would be " I am afraid that I will die or be disfigured horribley in a car accident." A Fact would be "Statistically that fear could easily come true." Both are truths, one is a fact and one an opinion I have that is truth for me. Truth can be subjective, and personal in nature, I think.

Truth is a relationship between two things, It is not a thing in itself. It is the relationship between a statement maker and the object of the statement. So when you say Jesus would remain silent, you are not speaking the truth because it's evidenced that he didn't. This is also known as the correspondence view of truth, the only view of truth that is entirely logistically sound.

The truth is how you really feel or what really happened. Jesus would always tell the truth, but if the truth would hurt someone's feelings then just don't answer the question.
P.S. Don't rat people out in the truth leave your friends and family members out of your truthful story unless they already admitted to the "crime".

In fact Jim, he didn't remain silent. Jesus said, "Iam the way the TRUTH and the life. no man goeth to the father but by me."
You see God gave Jesus Christ authority over all of creation as all of creation was created through him.
"
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning.
Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood[a] it. "

Quite possibly. At times truth can hurt as much as lies and given what is written about Jesus at most times (not all) he was for not hurting those around him.

Christ is king or truth. Jesus on the other hand means good or priest.
Hope this helps to adjust your usually bankrupt thinking.

Huh yeah he probably would. Truth is many things...you get 100 witnesses to a murder and 100 different answers. And all of them are correct...

Truth is subjective, there are no absolute truths, as an agnostic this should be intrinsic to your belief.
