"Diets" are short term. Once you've lost the weight do you go back to your old habits? You need to make a lifestyle change - that means have a healthy eating plan for life. It's a big commitment, but the results can also be lifetime!

If you are eating the same amount AND performing the same amount of activity/exercise, you shouldn't be gaining weight, although at some point you will level off.

if you havent started exercising then you need to, sure a diet can help you lose a little weight but to lose more and keep it off you need to increase your activity level and always challenge yourself with it. like say for instance you walk a mile every day, after a while you should increase your distance or increase your speed to jogging or whatever you feel like.

Because diets don't work! Lifestyle change is what will get the fat off, and keep it off. That's why STACK works so well. 100% of the people I know, who have used STACK have lost weight, and kept it off.
