According to a recent decorator's magazine, Pella just went around Anderson as the most popular replacement windows. I prefer Jeld-Win windows because of their nice selection of historical wooden windows. But, even if you purchase the most expensive custom built window money can buy, your new window purchase could be ruined by a bad installation.
If you purchase from a company, make sure they will be in business as long as their warranty. I think it would be worth it to hire a professional to install your windows to avoid this problem.

Go for Pella or Anderson. If you go cheap, that is what you get. You can spend more on maintenance of cheap products than if you bought a quality product to begin with.
