I think your completely right, I didn't wait, but I wish I had. The second person I've ever slept with is my husband, we've been together for 7 years. It's all personal preference. You should do what's right for you

Sex is a HUGE part of marriage, and that said, different people have different expectations and needs in that department. I am not promoting promiscuous behavior, however I think that it is healthy for young people to explore themselves and their needs and desires before committing to a lifelong relationship.
Futhermore, the majority of teachings against sex in Judaism were probably put in place to control the population in regards to availible resources and to prevent the spread of disease (we know that syphillus did exist back then). And the Pauline and Petrine scriptures in the New Testament that adress the issue were written by men who NEVER met Christ while He was alive, hated women, and were certain that Christ would be returning within a short period of time (under 100 years).
Abstinence is fine for some, but we are told in the GOSPELS to not judge others. I would say that what other people do or don't do in their bedrooms is none of your business.

One person at a time? Sure. It gets pretty complicated otherwise. One person total? Bad idea. There is such a thing as incompatible people out there. It's a good way to make yourself miserable being stuck with someone you're not sexually compatible with for the rest of your life.

Good for you, nothing wrong with that, it is your choice.
What you should never let happen, is for other people to influence you, just because other people screw around and take risks, it doesn't mean that it is the thing to do.
Many guys n girls go through many sexual partners in search of what they cannot find by just having sex, and that is because love comes from your heart.

Not having sex before marriage is the best possible way to ensure that you marry someone who doesnt like sex. Or is gay.

I wish I had. It would have prevented many bad memories and some uncomfortable conversations. Not to mention an HIV test before marriage.

Nope. Didn't save myself. Have never regretted it.
Although, truth be told, I've only ever slept with one person and have done so for 4 years now. So there!

If it looks like I'll run out, I'll start saving, but for now I'm just practicing.
