I've been stuck behind people that go 15 in a 35 and 35-40 in a 55....why do people like to take their grand ol' time? i mean yeah its nice to take your time but that doesn't mean going how much slower.

why would you drive 35-40 when the max is 55? you arent traveling the speed of traffic. slower drivers as well as speeders can cause accidents also. 15 under the posted speed limit is too slow. i say drive as well as the road conditions will let you.

I've had occasion to carry either a heavy or unstable load. Also, I've moved vehicles that had problems. These times I've had to move much slower than the posted limit. Also, where I live, in the mountains, the posted limit is too fast for some of the curves which could very well have hidden dangers around them.

The speed limit is the MAXIMUM speed you are permitted to drive at. Usually, 10MPH under is perfectly legal, and is only dangerous when maniac speeders are trying to get around slower cars by making dangerous lane changes.
Also, when you see a sign "slower traffic keep right" it means slower than the speed limit, not slower than the guy doing 80MPH

it's because they are either old or documentally chalenged and think that by going slower they will not attract attention to themselves when it is just the opposite. If I were a cop I would stop someone going under the speed limit before someone going over unless it was drastically over I drive for a living and see this all the time I was just suprised to see other people who can't stand it either so thanks

Because they are rude. When I feel like driving slow (hardly ever) I will always pull over to let cars around me.

Please understand it could be for many, many reasons. The car could be in trouble. each one of us think of their safety different from others. The person could be in trouble.???? please undertand other people.... be kind!
