While looking up Head of KoRn on the internet, I cam across this article on cbn.com. I for one am somewhat offended by it and was wondering how others felt? "Christians should be the people least surprised by this conversion. We know that in Mark 2:27 Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners” (NIV). If our Lord walked the earth today, we’d more likely find Him at a thrash metal rock concert looking for the wounded rather than sitting in a pew on Sunday morning amongst the righteous. God went to that rock concert and apparently found a hurting soul on stage."

i'm not sure what offended you but I have to agree somewhat. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Jesus not in church on Sunday mornig...maybe or maybe not at a concert, but still, he would be where people needede him not where they alreaddy knew him and where everything was fine...I still don't know what "rock concert" that your article refers to, you left it a bit vauge, but it doesn't offend me as it is in the question you posted. Now if it's claiming that he is on earth somewhere or....whatever it would be that you left out...then yes I would have to diagree.

I am not offended by that. Its stupid and isn't at all true. This is what that scripture says...
Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. KJV
Those two scriptures aren't even close.
You must have ment mark 2:17:
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
The NIV bible misleads so many people with their wrong interpretation of what the KJV bible was saying. What they leave out is so very important to the learned reader. It can make the difference between salvation and death.
Every time a company so called "imporves" a bible and makes it "easier to understand", they are dilulting the world of God, just in the name of putting a patent on it and make money from the sale of it. But it then becomes the word of man, and no longer the word of God.
On Sunday, if Jesus walked the earth today, He would not be sitting in a pew, but standing at the pulpit, just as He did so many years ago. You could not keep Him from His Father's house.

What exactly offended you? That someone came out of that lifestyle and got saved or that Jesus would be out searching for those most in need of His love and forgiveness?

I think you forgot about His omnipresence.
Where do you think God isn't? At ANY time?
He is here AND there; then, now and later; with you, with me, with them...even simultaneously!
I thank God that someone was saved. That seems to be the highlight of your message!
God bless!
