If I ask a question about computer trouble I'm having and I explain how I use a Mac, people automatically say that having a Mac is my problem. I've used both Mac and Windows computers all my life, and I still prefer Macs.

Most people I think who post anti Mac remarks are people who have never touched a Mac.

I switched after 10 plus year of PC and never looked back!

Mac's Rock!

PC users are generally misinformed. Most of them base their opinion on their experiences with older Macintosh systems, such as OS 9 and earlier. I guarantee that most of these people have never touched OS X "Tiger". They seem to firmly attach themselves to this rumor that OS X is immune to viruses due to lack of users. This is certainly not true. I will post a link to an article on this issue proving that OS X is in fact less vulnerable based on it's UNIX underpinnings. Also, most PC users don't pay attention to Apple, iPod aside, and they don't even realize that Macs can run Windows just as well as any other PC, in fact, better in most cases. PC users always want to talk about files... How Macs aren't compatible with PC files. Macs are compatible with more files out of the box than Windows XP. Does XP support PDF documents out of the box? No. Can Windows XP read disk images out of the box? No. Windows XP doesn't even support DVD playback without a third-party CODEC. PC users believe that there is this significant lack of software for the Macintosh. Again, not true. There's a plethora of software for the Mac, most of it much better than it's PC counterpart. Let's face it, PC users are generally ignorant. They're so used to the world Microsoft has created (I mean, ripped off) for them, they don't realize that they are being fed some of the worst software ever written. I could go on all day about the advantages of using a Macintosh, but PC users will never listen. They have better things to do, like keeping their virus definitions up to date, scanning for spyware or de-fragmenting their hard drives.

Spend a few hours looking for software for it! Mac has been trying to compete with Microsoft for 20 plus years and still aint made a dent! Macs wont run 95 percent of the software on the market! Hardware is another issue! A good portion of sound and video cards wont work in one! Everything they do is done the hard way! They cant even make a decent mp3 player! Ipod questions abound in here! Someone is always having troubles with them! I have yet to see anyone post a problem with any other mp3 players! I can take just about any other player and connect it to a pc and swap songs without having to install Ipod software! Want me to go on? Im not a big fan of microsoft but at least I dont have to spend two weeks to get a piece of hardware to work and then find out it wont! Many Mac users state that their Mac doesnt get infected! Im sure they dont solely because virus programmers arent after the puny *** number of Macs out there!

i think of that is quite often the fee of the flaws. you will get a pc with the comparable form of overall performance as a Mac for extra fee-effective and extra fee-effective nonetheless in case you build it your self, yet incredibly no longer that much less. you will get a pc which will do the job with perchance an i3 or i5 for quite a few hundred funds extra fee-effective and that, i think of, is the actual distinction. the different ingredient would be that as quickly as you purchase a Mac you do go through a distinctive loss of determination of utility while in comparison with abode windows. it incredibly is to no longer say that Mac utility is terrible, purely that there is far less of it. some people do purely unlike Apple "Macintrashes" purely as others do unlike "Micro$oft Windoze". individually, i do no longer strategies what i exploit, i've got been making use of diverse desktops for see you later that is all grist to me.

it's all a game. If you had a PC and complained of a problem, some folks would say "Get a Mac". It's just Ford and Chevy all over again.
