Does your Taco Bell keep the “Fire” sauce behind the counter? If so, why?

All the Taco Bell’s I go too keep the “Fire” sauce behind the counter, and nobody that works there knows why, when I ask.

I've worked at two Taco Bells. At one they left out the Fire sauce with all the other sauces, but keeping them separate and with the front flipped up was very important. Then, at the second Taco Bell they kept it behind the counter. The manager told me that it was to protect the unsuspecting customer from a "fire" experience if they were expecting a "mild" one. Maybe it's even a liability issue. Personally, I think if people are stupid enough not to notice which sauce they're using, they don't deserve to eat food...ever.

Ahhh...the much coveted Fire Sauce. The only ingredient in Taco Bell actually "needed" in order to eat that stuff!!!!
Now for the Lawyer stuff-It is behind the counter to keep people, yes people from getting it mixed up with the lame stuff and getting burned.

No they keep it in little packets labeled fire along with the ones labeled hot and mild right there on the condiment shelf. I don't know why any Taco Bell would hide it. It is not like someone is going to chug down a whole bottle of anything that fiery.

Yes they do. It's because they don't want people to use the 'hot' and think that is the "normal" sauce at Taco Bell. Thus offending those who don't like it hot. P.S. Even their "hot" is not hot to a hot sauce lover

Yes. The manager claims too many people 'stole' it when it wasnt kept behind the counter.

At every one I go to they leave the sauce ,napkins, straws and cup's and lids where the costumer can get to them . maybe they just haven't moved them since they got there and no one feels like moving them anyway. I hope you get your sauce man. :)

They keep it next to the extinguisher... just in case it suddenly lives up to its name.
