WOW - I just saw someone's response to a previous question and it used Hovind (Dr. Dino) as a source!!!!!!

I'm an atheist, it's obvious to me that Hovind is a crackpot - but I've heard that even fundamentalists think he's nuts!!

True?

Check out the information about him in Wikipedia - a lot of very religious people have a problem with him!

He is so deluded it is ridiculous. Even Ken Hamm, another famous creationist, disagrees with him. He has a fake degree from a diploma mill, he doesn't understand basic science, he has faked credentials and he is a tax cheat. So basically he is just like all other creationists, a liar.

He used to post here as "Dr. Dino". He was a total crackpot, then he got busted for tax evasion. His accounting was as shady as his science was. The person most "familiar" with him now is his cellmate. Now he doesn't post anylonger.

Most Christian FUnides love him, they buy the crap he feeds them and they regurgitate it out here as fact. They claim he has "proved" Creationism and has "won" 24 different debates with evolutionists. It's all BS. Now that he's going to prison, it just goes to show that even God hates Dr. Dino.

(edit - reply to Esther above - you won't be hearing any more speeches for 10 years, 8 with good behavior. She's the typical Christian response to Hovind. Just shows how blind their faith really is when they deny hard scientific evidence in favor of myths and fables.)

Unfortunately i am familiar with this nutcase. I love how he spouts off about his tax dollars being used to teach "lies" to children... yet he is under several indictments for tax evasion. The guy's got more than a screw loose for sure. Right up there with Ray Comfort and Todd Friel.

I have heard several of his lectures and for the most part, hie is pretty dead on. I have not heard any Christian say anything bad about him. I am sure that if you have a disagreement with any of his positions, you can e-mail him and engage in a dialog with him, instead of coming here to rip him behind his back.

Kent Hovind came to our church a few years ago. I thought he was brilliant and funny. All sorts of opinions, I guess. I haven't heard anything he's said lately.

True... a total whack job. Even his academic credentials are phony.
