I'm around, hmm, 5 '5'-5 '6'. I am thirteen years old, (Grade 8) And I weigh around, 97-100 pounds. I haven't checked in about a month, but last month I was 97. I know I have gained about 1-2 1/2 pounds. Am I underweight? Thanks in advance. :-)

Lulupo has a great site. If you've not checked out his, you should. Even though we have to guess at your birth date, you Don't'. If your measurements are right then you fall in the BMI range of 9-14% which is perfect for you agre. Now this is not a healthy weight for an 18 yeaer-old so you mustn't go on a weight management plan. Also, if this weight is the result of an eating disorder, then all our comments are invalid and you should see you doctor instead. But that aside, now is your chance to be taking your advantage to find out hwat other eating and exercise choices you can make that will help you build endurance, stenght and shape to your body. Keep up the ggreat work!

Hardly. Give your body time to fill out. Don't rush it. If anything, you might want to add a little muscle mass (some weight training). Don't try to gain weight by eating fatty foods.

At 16, I was 5'10 and 110. Now I'm 37, 6'00 and 180. The weight will come, much quicker than you might want.

If you were an adult, I'd say you were underweight -- but at 13 -- Nope. At your age I was about the same height and weight -- and I was always a good eater. I filled out when I got older.

Sounds to me like you may be underweight for your height. You're young and growing so your body will go through many adjustments. Here's a link for weight proportion to height:
