If you are looking for a more natural color, go with some reddish highlighting. Blonde only looks good on a very few black people and it has to be just perfect to work. Browns mostly just look washed out IMO. If you want to go bolder which I highly recommend, hold some of your favorite colors up against your face. If you don't like a color in a top, you won't like it on your head either. It's impossible to tell what color would be best because there is a lot of variation in skin tones. I don't know if you have any yellowish or reddish undertone to your skin and it makes a big difference. You also want to look at your clothing and makeup. You'll look silly if you end up pink all over but you also don't want colors to clash. Look at magazines and peoplewatch to see what you like best in combinations.

You'd want to go for a warm brown with caramel highlights, I'd think. Auburn might be too orangey and the bright light blonde shades would look fake, plus going from black to pale blonde even for highlights is bound to cause a lot of damage.

Go one or two shade lighter than your hair and try subtle highlights. Don't do anything extreme; you can always do more but a bad dye job is difficult and expensive (and not always successful) to correct, particularly on black or very dark hair.

Hello, well 1st of all is a good thing you base on your skin color, something that most of the people don't even care! and at the end looks fatal, by the skin tone you are desribing i think would be nice for you to get a honey looking color. But preferibly a dark color. What about "chocolate cherry?" with some lil lights and you'll look beautiful!

Try and light brown or blonde color. I suggest trying temporary highlights before dying your whole head. I'm the same color as you and the light brown from dark and lovely looks great on me.

Good luck!

Well I would have to know how much red and yellow are in your skin but for the most part dark brown with caramel highlights looks good on people with dark skin.

Yes you are correct i answered a qt today about hair colour
complexion plays a very imp role as to what kinda colour you must use
well for you i suggest deep mahogany or deep burgandy as you have black hair
well you ll have to pre bleach your hair before colouring as black hair doesnt give the desired result of colour

but remember you have to usse high conditioning shampoo if you choose to colour you have to take extra care......

so r u ready

I think you should go to a place that sells wigs and try them on for fun to see what color you like the best. It's a free way of making the determination without the ultimate failure--- pink hair!!!

Have a great day!!!

I think light to medium brown should suit your skin tone.
