DON'T GET DISCOURAGED!
Leaving "the life" already took more courage than most people show in a lifetime. You can't change the past, and you will never be perfect. Just take more steps to do the kinds of things you like. Try to get a job in a trade you enjoy. Stay straight and make some money. You will not have all the answers at once. Just do a little to move towards what you think you might like to be doing in the future. Answers come one at a time.
Sorry this is all just sayings and nothing absolutely concrete. But only you know what you would really like to do. No one really knows what they will be doing in the future. We all just try our best. If you have a second chance at life, go for it.
Good luck!

Itr is never ever too late to change the way you have lived in the past- its never too late to become the person u want to be! We all do silly things when we r younger- this girl will totally understand if you sit with her and tell her about your past mistakes and that SHE makes you want to be better!!!! Confide in her and I am totally sure she will judge u on future things and not the past! Think about some of the things u love to do! Then make a job of it! Stay away from old friends that r in the gang lifestyle so u dont get drug back in! Good luck to u! YOU CAN DO IT

Not sure what your situation is. But if you really want to change your life and that of other people, getting a teaching certificate and going to teach at a middle or high school might be exactly the same. If you used to be a gangster, then you might be able to relate to others who might tread down that path. You could change other's lives, and really do something positive for a community. Not much really better than helping kids.

First off you should be proud of the decision you made to walk away from such a lifestyle. That took strength and courage I'm sure. You fell in love with her and if she loves you or have any feelings for you then she will try to overlook your past.
If being with her will get you to the point where you think your accomplishments are for nothing then i say strongly reconsider being with her. Be proud and don't overwhelm yourself thinking of your past. It's exactly that your past and everyone deserves a fresh start.
Think of the things you like to do and are good at and start there. You may be surprise with the things you learn about you.
Take a fresh start there is nothing but goals and accomplishments ahead.

Well, if she really loves you, she'll accept your past for what it is. I say, go to College, get an education, work for a nice place, make some money, take out the girl and just start living more respectfully. Maybe even become a mentor for kids so that they don't make the same mistakes you did. Go hang out at Boys and Girls clubs and encourage young people to choose wisely while growing up.

Well, any girl that is worth having as the love of your life will love you for who and what you are now, not for the scars of the past. Of course, this goes for you too. You have to live life as you want it now not constantly living in regret of the past. The more time you dwell in the past the more you are doomed to repeat it. Focus and live now and a woman who does the same will come to you.

It's never too late to make a change. You already made a big one- realizing that life as a "G" is not worth it. Keep moving foward and keep a positive outlook. She will recognize the change in your heart, mind and spirit if you continue on the right path. Just think positive!!

Why don't you become a motivational speaker to help kids stay out of the gangs. She will admire you for it, you'll be helping other people and when you are unselfish..life has a way of rewarding you with all good things.

Explain to her that who you were in the past isn't who you are now. She needs to accept the fact that you're a changed man. If she can't handle it, I'm sure someone else can.
