I'm 5'6, and I weight 142, I'm 19. On the right track?

i guess so, add some more muscle though and gain a little bit of weight though-5 pounds .you are on the right track.

Very hard to say.One person may be a solid 142 with 8% body fat,another could be an under muscled 142 with 20% body fat.Can you see your abdominal muscles?If so your probably on the the track.Another test ,measure your hips and waist.If your waist is 85% of your hips your doing OK.

Your Body Mass Index is at the appropriate levels. So I'd say yes. Be sure to keep active and eating healty anyway.

yea..thats a good weight...you could be 5' 6" at 160lb...the extra weight could be muscle because muscle weighs more than fat
