Placebo's do not have any active ingredients and years ago were given for "psychological" effects. Some referred to them as "sugar pills." They are not given anymore unless you are part of a scientific study. Supposedly they work thru the power of suggestion. I guess the better answer is that if you know you are taking a placebo, it should have no effect whatsoever on you

The effect wore off once you knew it was a placebo. This means you are now fully able to drive heavy machinery. Good Luck!

Since you are asking this question, it is obvious it is wearing off. You will need to take two more ASAP. A clinical study of this medication has shown that it's main side effect is of generating hysteria and leads people to think they are knowlegable in the medical field. This euphoric feeling is easyily wide spread as evident by all the other answers here. The effects will wear off soon so it is no reason for alarm.

If it's the slow-release Placebos (red coating, sweet taste, available in local vending machines by the front doors of supermarkets) then it could be 6-8 hours before you can even legally walk...

... it takes 4-6 Weeks though, to clear your system. Don't do ANY urine testing... either personally (as it may taste funny) or professionally.

Look up the definition of placebo. It probably won't wear off and you will be subjected to walking everywhere for the rest of you life. Tough break for a small step in pharmacological research.

Technically placebo meds are fake meds, they do nothing as such. You only feel better because you think you are. so in actual fact the placebo meds wear off when ever you think they do.

When you believe it's worn off, you need to take more. If it's a placebo, you probably don't have to worry about overdosing.
